The Webeconomics Of A Membership Site

One way that many Internet businees owners have been able to bring in a healthy income for theirbusiness has been through membership sites.
Actually, to be more specific, through residual monthly membershipsites. That means that members join by paying a monthly fee.
The great thing about these websites is that you don't just go for a one-time sale and then wonder how you'll make money the nextmonth - you get paid month after month after month.
Just do the math - let's say you started a membership site thatcosts only $19.95 per month, and then only managed to get 100 people signed up. You would be making close to $2000 per monthafter that!
What if you got 200 signed up? Or 500?
The funny thing is, it isn't very hard to get that many peoplesigned up.
Here's what is hard:
1. Creating the site.2. Figuring out what you're going to offer.3. Getting traffic to your site.4. Keeping members from canceling.5. Setting appropriate price points.
There may be other things as well, but those are some of the mainpoints.
