1. Google Adsense - Don't Get Caught For Click Fraud
There has been quite a number of site owners thathave had their Google Adsense account terminatedfor no apparent reason. If you are making asubstantial income with Adsense then to have youraccount terminated would make a huge impact onyour finances.
Nobody wants to see their income take a such aconsiderable dive. However, it is theconsideration of the opposite that has brought thefraud situation into play.
There have been people who wanting a higher income will either click on their own Adsense ads or askfriends or family to click on their ads for them.
This is known as 'click fraud'. This is the actof clicking on ads for the sole purpose of earningextra income from the clicks.
The problem is that while that person is earningmore income from those clicks, the advertiser ofthose ads is paying more fees for what is reallyfalse leads.
From the point of view of the Adwords advertiser, they do not want to be paying higher costs forfalse leads that have no chance of earning themany sales or leads.
Many website owners are aware of this fraud andare sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Adsense is facing.
How do you prevent being involved in this fraud?
Google will look to you very highly if they seethat you would want to help them reduce clickfraud. Many web hosts now offer access logs. If you have access logs to your website it is a goodidea to hand it over to Google as well. Thisallows them to look for any suspicious activity onyour site. By giving them your access logs itshows Google that you want to help them in any way you can in solving the click fraud problem.
There is also click monitoring software availableon the market and most of these are free software.It wouldn't hurt to get hold of some clickmonitoring software and once again, all the information received through the software beinggiven to Google. You will be again showing Googlethat you are helping them in the fight againstclick fraud and are in no way involved in clickfraud.
There have been many people who have had theiraccounts terminated for click fraud who are verysure that they did not click on their own ads orhave a family member or friend clicking their ads.
How this comes about is a bit unsure, but it can be possible if you perhaps have a visitor thatdoes like your site and visits it quite regularly.If that one visitor does happen to click on adseach time they visit, this may come across asclick fraud.
Also, as awful as it may sound, some people mayunintentionally make enemies and if someone whoperhaps wants to hurt you could find your websiteand click on your ads knowing that theconsequences to that would be you losing your Adsense account.
This is why if you write any ebooks or reports anduse your own website as an example, you shouldn'texpose your actual website url or name. This canhelp to avoid anything like that happening to you.
Study your server logs and watch for any activitythat seems suspicious. Report anything that youmay find odd, may it big or small thing.
You may want to consider disabling ads for yourown IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not makeGoogle mistake another user as you. You can dothrough a htaccess file.
Keep your Adsense off on pop ups and pop unders.Your ads should not be displayed on content sites that promote illegal activity or tampering of thelegal rights of other people or business. Includedin this are the content that is considered adultand gambling ones. If you think that you may bebreaking this rule, immediately remove your content or Adsense from the web page.
Always be truthful and confess to Google if you doclick on your own ads. whether accidentally orintentionally. Or if you have ever done anythingthat is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that youmay have done that is wrong.
Confessing is way better than Google learningabout it eventually. It would mean eventualtermination and no getting back what you have worked so hard for. If you confess to themanything you have done wrong, then they look atyou as being honest and having made anunintentional mistake. They will take this morekindly than if they find out by their own methods.
Don't tell your family or friends that you have awebsite at all. As much as you'd like to show offyour website to your family and friends, there isa good chance that they may start clicking on yourads to help you make money without you knowing it.Even though they may be trying to help you out,they will actually be doing more harm than good.
If someone you know does find out that you have awebsite, make sure you explain to them to never click on your ads. Make sure they understand theconsequences to you if they do.
Do not be caught in the Google click fraud. Beaware and be wary.

The Cure For EBFS
I spent the last few weeks working with a fellow Internet Marketer.
I was getting repeated emails from him asking for information on how to do things and this and that etc. And all these while the information is available to him in readme files or in the ebooks that we are reading together to implement the project. I am very curious on how a normal intelligent person can be so helplessly dependent for such Internet Marketing related information.
I think hard and even draw parallels to my own similar behaviour sometimes. I came to a conclusion that both of us may be suffering from EBFS.
EBFS is defined in the medical journals as EBook Fatigue Syndrome.
It is the result of reading too many ebooks on Internet Marketing that are full of frivolous useless content. After sometime the brain adapts by blocking information from these ebooks. However as Internet marketing is a relatively new field, the brain has not evolve to the stage where it is only able to block out information from crabby ebooks, but the brain also block information from important internet marketing ebooks.
That is the reason why sometimes we are stuck on a project.
This is because EBFS causes us to filter out important information from the Internet Marketing material we are reading as well.
However, I have discover that the cure for EBFS is just be able to relax and stay focus and to make good decisions on what your priorities are, staying healthy, have enough sleep, excercise. Fresh air is also important, a walk in the park or the beach can be good. If all else fails consider listening to a ebook instead. You can find a good selection with here. PPC secret no more
Just got a tip from a mentor about PPC. There just no secrets in PPC anymore. What can be done and written about has been written.
There is just so much there is to it:
1) search a topic / market 2) search keywords 3) select affiliate programs to promote 4) write ads 5) create a landing page / review page 6) track / split test / finetune
Best way to learn allocate a small budget if say 200 bucks and try it yourself. Full Stop.

People typically visit the internet in search of information. They are looking for content that is relevant to their purpose. They typically are not looking for marketing ploys. There are a number of ways to increase this content, including having a search engine optimization company provide you with keyword rich articles, but there are three major reasons why more website content increases your website traffic.
The first reason more website content increases traffic is that content articles tend to be focused on a topic. This focus will then lead to the repeated use of a keyword or phrase. That repeated use leads to higher search engine rankings. Search engine rankings are the way returns come back to an internet user through a search engine. If someone searches for the term �dogs� they will come back with thousands of pages of results. The order those results are displayed on the screen depends on a number of factors including how frequently the term is mentioned on the site and where it is mentioned on the site.
Research shows that people tend only to click on the first ten results a search engine offers them. Increasing your website content will help you become one of those first ten websites. This means more people than you ever thought possible will be clicking on your site in no time simply based on your website ranking. Not only will you be closer to the top of the search engine with more content, you may also be indexed by more search engines. The second reason more website content increases traffic is a bit more complicated. If you have strong, well written content on your site, you increase your credibility with customers. This increase in credibility not only makes people believe what you have posted to your site, it also makes them want to stay at your site to read the rest of your content articles. The more content articles you have at your site, the longer they will stay. Keeping them there as long as possible is the key to selling your product to them. You have a much longer time frame in which to pitch your product and close the sale.
Not only will they stay at your site longer with more content, but this also means they may come back to your site the next time they log onto their machine. For example, if you are selling refilled printer ink cartridges, but you have content on your site related to all things printers, you have a good chance that someone might stay to look at a few of the articles. However, the next time they need digital photo printing tips, chances are good that they will remember what great content you offered them during their last internet session, and they will return directly to your site just to read more of your content. This means you have their complete, undivided attention for an even longer period of time. Moreover, if they are returning to your site on some sort of regular basis, chances are good that they will recommend the site to other users like friends and relatives which will mean even more traffic for your site.
The final way more website content increases your web traffic is that it increases the likelihood that advertisers and reciprocal link exchangers will be attracted to your site. Reciprocal links are exchanged by websites that have similar interests. The more relevant topics you are able to list, the more chances you have of someone with similar interests attempting to link to your site. This could greatly increase your website traffic because not only will people be able to find your site through search engines, they may also be able to find your site through other sites. Further, though, advertisers are looking for sites that encourage customers they want to do business with. More keywords will mean more customers for you which can mean more advertisers for you which can mean more profits and visibility for you.

Choosing the right keywords can really increase your website traffic by increasing your search engine ranking and by encouraging visitors to stay on your site and return to your site. Choosing the wrong keywords, though, can be disastrous. There are five simple ways to choose your keywords wisely and improve your web traffic.
The first, and perhaps the easiest, way to choose the right keywords for your website is to brainstorm ideas with regard to your individual goods and services. Sometimes simply the name of your goods or services will work as an excellent keyword. For example, if you offer writing services, consider �technical writing� as you keyword. Creating a page around �writing� may not get you the customers you deserve. Think specifically about what you offer and create a page to advertise it. Within this, though, you must remember to stay away from general keywords. The competition for these keywords is rather stiff.
Thousands of sites are optimized for words like �computers,� and doing the same thing with yours can simply make it redundant and hard for customers to find. Moreover, customers are more search savvy than you are giving them credit for. If a customer wants to find information on something specific, he or she will search for something specific. For example, they may want to know about flea treatments for their cat, but instead of searching for �fleas� or �cat,� they may search for something more specific like a product name or type of treatment. If you feel you must use a general keyword, try taking a keyword and adding a more specific term to it. For example, if your key word is �cat,� try adding more specific terms like �behavior� or �specialist� to that for site optimization. With these general terms, you might also consider adding regional terms. If you service a particular area of the country, you may have some regional terminology that will help customers find you. Names of nearby cities or towns can help as can terms that your customers know and respect. For example, if you run a sandwich shop in New Orleans, you might want to optimize for the term �muffuletta.�
The second way to choose the right keywords for your website is to use a service like Google Keyword Sandbox or Overture Term Suggestion Tool. This way to choose your keywords can be a bit time consuming, but in the end, it is certainly worth it. Start with either service, and you'll end up with a huge list of possibilities. Once you've finished with that service, pick another and try running the same search. See what keywords you have in common with the two lists.
The third way to choose the right keywords for your website is to check your server log files. When someone visits your site from a search engine, the words they used to find your site are recorded in your server log files. Analyzing the actual files, though, can take some work. You can use various methods to examine those files depending on your server operating system. It can sometimes be best to use a software program to extract the information if you are not technically inclined.
The fourth way to choose the right keywords for your website is to use a keyword counter service. These analyze your web page and compare them with other, similar web sites. They offer you a density percentage report and the top words for the two pages based on their analysis. Keyword counter services are available all over the internet in both free and costly forms. Choosing the right service for you will simply be a matter of reading the reviews.
The final way to choose the right keywords for your website is to review sites that have both similar missions and products with regard to yours. It is important to notice sites that have rankings within the top ten on any given search engine. The point here isn't to copy the site; it is to figure out which keywords they are using to draw in potential customers.
Choosing the right keywords can be both a difficult and a long process. However, if you pick the right terms, you won't regret it based on your increased web traffic.

Three Ways to Advance Your Search Engine Rankings
Having a web site for your business is essential in today's online society. Customers expect to be able to find their favorite business online, and companies that refuse to use the technology available to them are often left in the dust. Simply having a web site, though, is often not enough. That website must be available to potential customers to be a valid source of advertising. The only way this can work is to have a high rank from search engines.
Search engine ranking gives internet users a way to determine if the page returned from the search they performed is of any value to them. The higher your search engine ranking, the more likely potential customers are to click on it. The lower your search engine ranking, the more likely customers are to never even find your website. There are three simple ways you can advance your search engine ranking and improve your business and your profits.
The first way to improve your search engine ranking is to pick your target key words carefully. When someone searches for something related to your business, you want your page to land in the top ten results offered by that search engine. Each page in your site should have more than one key word. Moreover, your site key words should be at least two words long. For example, instead of �stamps,� you might want to use �stamp collecting.� There are both free websites and pricey software that can offer you the best analysis of what key words you should use on your site. These can help you choose the right key words for your site.
Second, one of the main rules in search engine rankings is the frequency and location of key terms on your website. If the search term appears in your HTML tag, you are more likely to get a higher rating from a search engine. Moreover, search engines look for the key terms at the top of the page. Search engines are looking for the term in the headline or the first few paragraphs of the page. The nearer to the top, the more the search engine assumes the page is related to the topic the searcher is looking for. Another thing search engines look for is the frequency of the term. Search engines examine how frequently you use the term in relation to all of the other words on the website. They calculate the percentage and the higher the percentage, the higher your page ranking. It is important to remember, though, that some search engines are built to detect spamming, or using the term too many times to direct searchers to an unrelated page. Sites that detect spamming will not only exclude your site in their results; they may also ban your site from their results on a permanent basis. Deliberately spamming can be a lot of work as well. You have to constantly battle to keep your key words at the level the rankings will require. Deliberate spamming is ethically wrong, and you should not resort to it to increase your page rankings. Paying attention to the location and frequency of the search terms on your website can greatly improve your search engine ranking.
Finally, build relevant content on your page. Be sure that your page reflects the key words. Using HTML text wherever you can will help both search engines and your visitors to determine the relevance of your site. Using large graphics means the search engine cannot read your site. While they may look nice, they will not improve your search engine rating. That relevant content should include building on your text references. If your key word is collecting, consider offering an alternate key word of collectors. This can keep your site from being eliminated by some engines as redundant.
Increasing your key word rankings can really help increase your business. It can direct more traffic to your website that you ever thought possible. Remember though; do not get tied up in your rankings. Even if you do not see an improvement in your rankings, you will at least know you should concentrate on something besides your page rank that will help you improve your site ranking.

Google Ads On Your Parking Coupon?
A letter to the local press, Today, urge the Singapore government to model Google in monetising its assets with advertising. Money raise could be use for paying back to the citizens. Looks like a plausible idea. Maybe the many fund raisers here could also do the same. Also not too extreme compare to the lady who tattoo an ad on her forehead to raise fund for her college kid.
Come to think of it, I have six windows of my flat facing the highway. Would make good real estate for ads too.

Google does not manufacture anything other than provide a service that is free of charge.
.Considering that the search engine grosses over US$2 billion ($3.16 million), it is time that governments start thinking of doing a Google, and pass the money made back to the people.
.Google had revenues of US$2.25 billion for the first quarter of 2006. They only need to maintain their performance for the rest of the year to obtain a revenue of more than US$8.8 billion.
.Take the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and the HDB car parks divisions. They must print millions of copies of car park coupons. What if money can be made from advertisements on the coupons? The money can then be included in future Progress Package payouts.
.Another example: Public spaces are the responsibility of the Government. Licences for aesthetically-designed and strategically-placed billboards can be awarded to advertising agencies on a revenue-sharing basis. Again, the money could go into a fund for future Progress Package payouts.
.State land can be rented out for suitable events. Lampposts can have small television sets attached to them.
( Should be OK, if they dont get rip out by the kids for playing XBox games )
.The public can help come up with better ideas. What is needed is a single coordinating body between the various Government ministries and the advertising agencies.

Additonal ideas:
1. Put ads on the overhead MRT tracks, should make the dull concrete looks good.
Money raise from the Ads can be use to move these tracks underground to contain the noise.
2. Get the local police to wear LCD panels with ads on their back while doing street patrols.
3. Puts ads on the walls of our HDB flats. Money raise could be use to pay for conservancy fees.
4. Put ads on postage stamps, this should make stamps free or cheaper.
5. Allow school children to pay for their schooling by putting ads on their school bag or uniform.
6. How about giving eggs away for free after spraying ads on them. Just need to think of relevant ads to put on an egg.
Really with some careful thinking a good deal of our living expenses can be paid for by just putting ads at the right place on the right things that all around us.

Offering free services or promotional gifts to the visitors of your website can mean all the difference in the world when converting a visitor into a customer. People like freebies, whether it is free shipping, a freebie, or buy one get one free offer.
People like to know they are getting a great deal and they will often flock to the source to see what is available. Best of all, people always remember where they got their freebie from, especially if it is an item that can be used often.
There are literally thousands of ways to promote your website and to increase the traffic, but it is up to you to find the way that works best for your website. Here are the top three ways to offer free services or promotional gifts to increase your website traffic and to convert your mere visitors into loyal customers.
1. Contests
People love to enter and win contests. The thrill of competing with others for a grand prize or for numerous other prizes can be exhilarating. Contests work several ways: by the entrant deciding to opt-in for your website�s newsletter, completing a survey, or a number of other ways.
Prizes could range from iPods, vehicles, DVDs, vacations and stereo systems to products and gift certificates from your website. The bigger the prize(s) or even the more prizes, the more entries will be received. You can choose from one entry per person or unlimited entries.

Keep in mind that you do not want to clutter your website with other business advertisement banners. Select the sites you will be advertising on carefully. They should be in the general area of your business.
For instance, if you are in business with selling dog toys, you will want to advertise with animal websites such as veterinarians, kennels and other related sites. You would not want to advertise dog toys on a construction equipment website.
